    Hello, dear readers!

The Plum Collection has an exciting announcement to make. After the success of our past two zine issues, we have decided to diversify our repertoire in an attempt to effect even more diverse change in the literary scene, by creating festivals, workshops, and other related events in both Toronto and Boston. At the same time, we wish to improve the efficiency of our online ventures, by seeking outreach assistants, graphic artists, and editors.

If you are looking to become a part of this exciting opportunity, please apply directly at the link below:

  2. Anonymous asked: Do you accept short stories, or do you keep writing to poetry and prose only?

Short stories are a sub-category of prose — definitely! Send them our way at theplumcollection@gmail.com

    A study in brand minimalism

Jesus, I find the minimalized ones SO relaxing.

I looove all of the second to last ones. Still a touch of style and unique “branding,” but still very minimalist.

  10. Call for Visual Artists

    Hi guys!

We would like to remind all visual artists between the ages of 13 to 19 that they, too, may contribute their artwork to be featured on the next issue of Plum. We believe that the visual aspect of Plum is what immediately sets the tone of each issue, and as such, we are looking for a variety of works, across all artistic media.

You may submit here or here, with a short description of yourself.

  11. Anonymous asked: How many contributions do you receive?

It varies, so we cannot give you a clear answer. Last issue, we had relatively few submissions; we chose to, nonetheless, prioritize work of higher quality, and hence turned away three people. We have accepted submissions by ~10 artists around the world for this upcoming issue so far.

  12. Anonymous asked: If we submitted for the next issue, around when will we hear back?

Honestly, it depends. We will try to respond to you by Dec 20th at the latest, as soon as you meet the deadlines. So, if you have not received an email, do not be discouraged — we have not had the time to check all submissions.

  15. Anonymous asked: when is the deadline for submissions

We have decided on December 20th at midnight.
